86JC was born in Phoenix, Arizona. At an early age, 86 fell in love with Hip-Hop and R&B, Reggae, Dance Hall, and Soft Rock. All these influences played a big role in the soundscape of 86JC. 86 started making beats on his Playstation 2, with games such as: Music Maker: Rocks your Console, Music Maker: Deluxe Edition, and MTV's Music Generator 3: This is the Remix. 86 started with these games, and eventually broke them but later at the age of 9, he started using FLStudio 8. It wasn't until 86 was 15 that he got his own computer, with FLStudio 10, and started making his beats at home. Before that, 86 would go to his dad's house, and make beats whenever it was possible, for years. He has conquered industry hurdles to craft a unique sound that resonates globally.
